Internship Description
The company seeks an enthusiastic and collaborative intern with strong programming skills and curiosity in geospatial imagery data analysis and basics of GIS. This internship requires the candidate to work from our Bangalore office. Candidates pursuing BTech/MTech courses can also apply only if they are available full time for a minimum of 6 months.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Responsible for experimentation, testing and optimisation of statistical approach based satellite image fusion models.
Gathering and assimilation of optical satellite imagery for agricultural use case
Produce high quality maps using various mapping tools
Conduct geospatial analysis (raster and vector) in support of agricultural monitoring
Desirable Skills & Certifications:
Ability to code and develop prototypes in Python. Experience with Python libraries like numpy, gdal, rasterio, matplot, seaborn etc..
Good analytical and mathematics skills.
Analyzing spatial data and having a keen eye to discover patterns and trends in the datase.
Experience with satellite images and basic experience in geospatial software like QGIS.
Good communication, presentation skills and ability to work in teams
