Title: Geospatial Manager
Full-Time (37.5hrs per week)
Reports to: Head of Technology
Responsible for: GIS Analyst
Office location: Agilysis’ Banbury office
We are a growing UK business located in Banbury, Oxfordshire, looking to recruit a new manager to deliver GIS data, products, and analysis to external and internal clients.
You will lead the companies geospatial analysis, consultancy and product portfolio as a part of out Technology team making use of your extensive skills and experience to produce amazing results for our clients in the UK and globally.
The Geospatial Manager will be responsible to the design, maintenance and delivery of solutions to clients using our ArcGIS Online platform, directing internal resources and often working alongside others on data acquisition and processing. Your expertise in geospatial analysis will help support bespoke projects for clients, carrying out analysis of a variety of new or existing datasets to deliver insight on transport-related topics, most notably safety and traffic patterns.
Working alongside the Commercial team you will help to improve our products by working with clients and future customers to understand their needs and explain how our solutions suit their requirements.
We are looking for someone with considerable experience of Esri systems, notably ArcGIS Online which we use to create solutions for clients. You will also have a deep understanding of GIS analysis techniques, perhaps on multiple platforms (ArcGIS Pro, qGIS) and will be comfortable handling and processing data using file systems, file geodatabases, and cloud databases (SQL, Postgres).
Familiarity with transport network data, census, demographics plus both open and proprietary data will be an advantage, as will a keen interest in our area of business.

Job Purpose
This role requires the post holder to lead the companies geospatial analysis, consultancy and product portfolio. The position sits within the ‘Technology’ team but will require significant support for, and collaboration with our ‘Consultancy’ department on new areas of research for our clients in the UK and globally. The GIS Manager will be responsible to the design, maintenance and delivery of solutions to clients using our ArcGIS Online platform, sometimes directing internal resources and often working alongside others on data acquisition and processing. Their expertise in geospatial analysis will help support bespoke projects for clients, carrying out analysis of a variety of new or existing datasets to deliver insight.
