Job Summary
As a GIS Analyst, you will manage our local GIS Platform to produce, analyze, interpret, and visualize geospatial datasets in support of Fischer Homes’ initiatives.

- Serve as a technical leader on GIS within the company.
These skills will be used to:
- Assist in the design, development and management of GIS data resources and operational decisions.
- Keep a GIS database organized and maintained.
- Assist with the preparation, reproduction and distribution of maps, graphics, displays and other related documents.
- Create, edit and publish data layers.
- Digitize data as needed to include in map layers and datasets.
- Provide user support for GIS application programs.
- Manage the import and export of datasets between GIS & AutoCAD.
- Analyze, resolve, and document problems associated with the data contained in the applicable databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a geospatial related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a GIS professional with Experience in Geodatabase management procedures.
- Proficient with GIS data in ESRI ArcMap/ArcPro environments and ESRI software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online).
- Mastery of Core ESRI ArcGIS Toolkit Applications.
- Experience with GIS programming / scripting languages (Python, SQL).
Physical demands and work environment:
- Must have use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone and face-to-face contact.
- Must have the capability to effectively use and operate various items of office-related equipment such as but not limited to the computer, plotter, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
